This private tour was designed for history enthusiasts, combining incredible sceneries along the Brittany coast and some of France most famous medieval towns.
Your trip will start with a visit to the Mont Saint Michel. Discover this ‘Wonder of the Western World’, classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site within Brittany’s ports. Your historical experience in the west of France will lead you to the pirate city of Saint-Malo, a historic town of past maritime splendor, the fortress is surrounded by ramparts 1 754 metres long. Taste some oysters in the small fishing port of Cancale. Brittany is indeed well-known for its sea food and fishes, without forgetting the crepes.
From there, you will travel along the pink granite coast and the Finistère coast, where you will be impressed by the stunning landscapes. During your trip, you will discover a very special site recently opened "La Vallée des Saints"... You will finish the tour by heading for the point of Brittany, at Roscoff.

Day 1: Arrival in Normandy and Mont St Michel
Your private guide will drive you from Paris to the Mont St Michel, the “Wonder of the Western World”. You will spend all day to appreciate this beautiful site and admire the outstanding view over the bay when going down the ramparts path. Dinner and night at your 3* hotel in Mont St Michel.
Day 2: Cancale and St Malo
Discovery of the charming town of Cancale, famous for its oysters and its small fishing port. After lunch, we will drive to Saint-Malo along the coastal route with a stop at Pointe du Grouin. You will walk around the corsair city, its picturesque streets and monuments… Dinner and night at your 3* hotel in St Malo.
Day 3: The gate of Brittany: Dinan and Cap Frehel
Your guide will lead you to Dinan. With its hefty ramparts, its half-timbered houses and its cobbled streets, this is probably the quaintness of Britany’s medieval town center. After lunch, let’s go to the Cap Frehel, at the tip of a long peninsula and visit of the fortress of La Latte hugging a massive rock above the ocean. Night in your 4* hotel near St Brieuc.
Day 4: The Valley of Saints and the North Finistère
Discovery of the “Valley of Saints”, a stunning site with giant statues of Breton Saints. Then on route to Roscoff, walking tour and visit of the “Maison des Johnnies and the onion”. Night at your 4* hotel in Roscoff.
Day 5: Morlaix and the “Enclos paroissiaux”
Visit of Morlaix, one of the great old Breton ports. You will enjoy this medieval town with its cobbled streets, half-timbered houses and the pink granite viaduct. After lunch, you will discover some of the nicest “parish closes” of Brittany, unique in Europe. Night at your 4* hotel in Roscoff.
Day 6: From Roscoff to Guigamp along the Finistère coast and the pink granite coast
Driving along the pink granite coast, you will admire breathtaking landscapes… Drop off in Guigamp train station and high speed 1st train tickets to Paris.
This tour starts in Normandy and finishes in Brittany and can easily be combined with several days in Paris or in the Loire Valley or with touring elsewhere in France.
