This private tour will enable you to discover the very essence of France through its different atmospheres, from the peaceful Loire Valley, to sophisticated Paris. This tour is specifically designed for travellers wanting an authentic experience.
The tour starts in the Loire Valley, where the main focus of the visit will be beautiful châteaux and gardens. Amongst the most renowned sites are : Amboise, Chambord, Cheverny, Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, called the ‘Garden of France’, the Loire Valley offers scenery rich in vineyards, flowers and green hills where thousands of châteaux lie. Over the centuries, its charm and gentle lifestyle have made it into an inspirational place, much sought out by writers and poets. The Loire Valley will plunge you straight into the history behind some of the most beautiful pieces of French art.
A stopover of a day and night in the town of Bordeaux, classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will give you time to appreciate this architectural jewel of the 18th Century. Private excursions around the famous vineyards of Bordeaux will enable you to fully appreciate this wine-producing region.
Following this, come to visit the towns and villages of Provence. Wonderful perched little villages, seaside towns with their ‘calanques’, inlets and fishing ports, fields of lavender and olive groves: endless pleasures and discoveries will be available for you to feast your eyes upon.
In Paris, enjoy a programme of prestige amongst the most reputed places in the capital : the Louvre with its famous glass pyramid, a cruise in a ‘Bateau Mouche’, accompanied by a sumptuous dinner… and the authenticity of a tour of the town and its monuments in a 2CV car.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN THE LOIRE VALLEY
High speed 1st class train transfer to Amboise. Lunch in a well-known patisserie. Half day private tour of Amboise with a visit of the Royal Château of Amboise and the last residence of Leonardo da Vinci. Dinner in a restaurant with local specialities and night in Amboise in a 4* hotel.
DAY 2: GARDENS AND WINES, A TRUE LOCAL EXPERIENCE
Full day private tour of the Château de Villandry and its outstanding gardens, the graceful Château d'Azay-le-Rideau and a private wine cellar followed by a unique wine and cheese tasting. Gastronomic dinner in Amboise. Night in your 4* hotel.
DAY 3: LOIRE VALLEY CHATEAUX AND ARRIVAL IN BORDEAUX
You will discover the famous Chateau de Chenonceau. Lunch at the restaurant of the Chateau. Private transfer to Saint-Pierre-des-Corps train station. Gourmet dinner and night at the 5* hotel in Bordeaux.
DAY 4: BORDEAUX WINE TOUR
Full day private wine tour with a discovery of the vineyards and wine tastings with a private English speaking guide. Gourmet dinner in Bordeaux for you to appreciate the local gastronomy. Night in your 5* hotel in Bordeaux.
DAY 5: CARCASSONNE
High speed 1st class train transfer to the charming city of Carcassonne. Afternoon dedicated to the discovery of the city centre and its authentic streets. Gastronomic dinner and night at the magnificent hotel in Carcassonne.
DAY 6: ARRIVAL IN PROVENCE
High speed 1st class train transfer to Avignon, well known for its ramparts, its famous Pont Saint Bénezet and the Palais des Papes that you will explore during the afternoon with a private English speaking guide. Gourmet dinner and night at an enchanting 4* hotel.
DAY 7: PROVENCAL VILLAGES
Full day private tour of some of the nicest villages of the Provencal region (Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes, les Borries, Abbaye de Sénanque, Roussillon d'Apt, Bonnieux). Time for relaxing at the 4* hotel. Gourmet dinner and night at the hotel.
DAY 8: PROVENCAL ATMOSPHERE
You will discover the historic Pont du Gard and beautiful surrounding landscapes. The afternoon in Avignon is left free for your convenience, for you to enjoy the local atmosphere or a pleasant walking tour. Gourmet dinner in Avignon.
DAY 9: ARRIVAL IN PARIS
High speed 1st class train transfer to Paris. Private car transfer to a 5* hotel, ideally located in Paris. Free time to discover Paris on your own. Dinner aboard a “Bateau Mouche” for a Seine river cruise : an original way of exploring Paris. Night at your 5* hotel.
DAY 10: AUTHENTIC PARIS
During the morning a 2CV tour is on programme, an authentic way to visit Paris and its most important monuments! Afternoon left free for your convenience with suggested places to visit or shopping areas. Gourmet dinner in Paris.
DAY 11: DISCOVERY OF PARIS
Free time in Paris. Private transfer from the hotel to CDG airport according to your schedule.
