Cognac is located in the west of France between the Loire Valley and Bordeaux.

The Cognac region is renowned for having a very pleasant climate, as a result of the oceanic influence. It is the sunniest and hottest place on the Atlantic coast.

There are many different distilleries to be visited in Cognac, each one has its own secret and unique production process.The medieval Cognac is also known for its picturesque streets, the Château des Valois, the church of Saint Léger and its English style public gardens.

Of course, in Cognac you need to taste the renowned local brandy and each of the six ‘Crus’ of the AOC has its own personality.
