This private tour is designed for wine and nature lovers wanting to visit the best of Champagne, Sologne and the Loire Valley.
The tour starts with the amazing town of Reims in the heart of the Champagne region. From Taittinger to Veuve Cliquot and Moët & Chandon, appreciate meeting local producers and learn more about the world renowned Champagne appellation. From the impressive Reims Cathedral to the champagne tastings, the visit to this region will be an unforgettable experience.
On route to the Loire Valley, you will enjoy a one night stay in a Relais & Châteaux hotel in the peaceful Sologne region where some of the most famous châteaux are located. The Loire Valley, renowned as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to over a hundred châteaux. We have created a selection of the greatest, which are a pleasure for the eyes and a topic of interest for historically minded visitors. A special wine tour with wine tastings at local vineyards and gourmet meals at some of the area's finest restaurants will be a perfect end to this memorable stay.
All our tours are private and depart daily. They can be fully customised, lengthened or shortened according to the number of participants and to suit individual interests and schedules.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN REIMS AND CHAMPAGNE DISCOVERY
Private car transfer from CDG Airport to Reims. Full day private tour of two prestigious champagne houses with champagne tastings and a visit to the impressive Reims Cathedral with a private English speaking guide. Gourmet dinner and night at a 5* hotel near Epernay.
DAY 2: REIMS AND SOLOGNE REGION
Full day private tour to visit the Veuve Clicquot House with champagne tastings and private transfer with driver-guide to a 5* hotel in Sologne. Time for relaxing and appreciating the local atmosphere in the afternoon. Dinner and night in the Relais & Châteaux hotel in the heart of Sologne.
DAY 3: AMBOISE
Private transfer with driver-guide to Amboise. Lunch in a well-known patisserie. Private visit of the Royal Château of Amboise and the last residence of Leonardo da Vinci with a private English speaking guide. Gourmet dinner in Amboise and night at a 4* hotel.
DAY 4: LOIRE VALLEY CHATEAUX
Full day private tour of some of the most beautiful châteaux of the Loire Valley: the impressive Chateau de Chambord and the famous Chateau de Chenonceau, with a private English speaking guide. Dinner left free and night in your 4* hotel in Amboise.
DAY 5: LOIRE WINE TOUR
Full day private wine tour with a private English speaking guide, complete with a unique cheese and wine tasting. You will have the opportunity to bottle your own wine... Gastronomic dinner in Amboise.
DAY 6: LAST DAY IN THE LOIRE VALLEY
Free time in Amboise. Private transfer to Saint-Pierre-des-Corps train station according to your schedule.
This tour starts in Champagne and finishes in the Loire Valley region and can easily be combined with several days in Paris or with touring elsewhere in France.
