This private tour has been designed for wine lovers wanting a tour covering the discovery of some of the finest white wines of Chablis, full bodied reds of Burgundy and prestigious Champagne. A great journey with authentic experiences and many shared moments.
The tour starts in Paris with a three night stay offering an overview of the capital’s highlights: A tour through the historic city...Place de la Concorde, the Madeleine church, the Opera Garnier, Place Vendome, Faubourg St Honore street, Rivoli street before joining Les Champs Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Eiffel Tower. Follow the Seine river bank where most of the major historical buildings of the city are located, discover le Grand and le Petit Palais, the Louvre Museum with its glass pyramid... .all of that without forgetting an experience at the Moulin Rouge for a sumptuous diner and a show.
A private transfer will head to the amazing town of Reims in the heart of the Champagne region, for two nights. From Taittinger to Veuve Cliquot and Moët et Chandon, appreciate meeting local producers and learn more about the world renowned Champagne appellation.
Enter the Burgundy region where a stop in Chablis and will enable you to enhance your palate with outstanding white wines, all Chardonnay, making a dry white wine renowned for the purity of its aroma and taste. In the valleys and slopes west of the Saône River, a two night stay in Beaune will allow for the discovery of some of the most famous wines in France. Mainly red wines made from Pinot Noir or Gamay grapes. Burgundy is probably one of the French wine regions which is most anxious to preserve its terrain.
All our tours are private and depart daily. They can be fully customised, lengthened or shortened according to the number of participants and to suit individual interests and schedules.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN PARIS
Private transfer from CDG Airport to a 5* hotel ideally located in Paris. Half day private city tour of Paris, its historic ‘quarters’ and famous monuments with a private English speaking guide. Gourmet dinner in Paris.
DAY 2: DISCOVERY OF PARIS
Full day private tour of Paris with a visit to the Louvre Museum and free time for shopping. Dinner left free and night in your 5* hotel.
DAY 3: ESCAPE TO VERSAILLES
Full day private tour of Versailles to enjoy the splendid Château de Versailles and lunch in the restaurant located in its delightful gardens. Special evening at the Moulin Rouge for a gourmet dinner and the magical show.
DAY 4: CHAMPAGNE
Private transfer to Reims with driver-guide and visit of the impressive Reims Cathedral and two prestigious Champagne houses with champagne tastings. Gourmet dinner and night at a 5* hotel near Epernay.
DAY 5: CHAMPAGNE
You will appreciate a visit to another renowned Champagne house with champagne tastings and a visit of the vineyards. The afternoon is left free for a walking tour in Reims or for relaxing at the hotel, at your convenience.
DAY 6: BURGUNDY
Private transfer to Chablis with driver-guide for a wine cellar visit. On route to Burgundy, stop at the famous Hospices de Beaune for a historical visit. Gastronomic dinner and night at a 4* hotel in Beaune.
DAY 7: WINE TOUR IN BURGUNDY
For this Burgundy wine tour, a wine-tasting course, wine tastings and a discovery of the vineyards with a private English speaking guide are all on the programme. Dinner left free and night at your 4* hotel in Beaune.
DAY 8: END OF THE TOUR
Free time in Beaune. Private transfer to Beaune train station according to your schedule.
This tour starts in Paris and finishes in Burgundy and can easily be combined with touring elsewhere in France.
